There are over 1,000 towns to complete.Plenty of towns are easy enough. Some take complex planning. Do them in your own order. Get bonuses for completing regions and contracts. Some cargoes are easy to get. Others you have to create in industries. Use existing industries and build your own.The further you get from the start the more strategies you have to use.Pimp up your trucks with bonuses. You could even say that playing is educational. There is plenty more to keep you on your toes.Towns consume the cargoes you are trying to get to completion.Big trucks are great for moving lots of stuff, but can't travel everywhere. There are lots of broken roads that need deliveries.Upgrade the industries for better exponential throughput.Cargo stores can sure come in handy. What! I can't take my big trucks across the water on a ferry.... and what is with those quarantine checkpoints?Complete towns, roads, industries, contracts, regions and states for lots of in-game and Steam achievements.LOGistICAL's base game covers the whole of Australia including all the major cities, towns and industries. The concept is good, the implementation is dreadful. Even at discount, I wouldn't recommend this poor effort.. Don't buy this game if you are not achievement hunter or using Astats for tracking website because i guarantee you will get bored after a first few hours playing this game.. If you haven't played Logistical before, I recommend you check out the base game (just called "Logistical") and look at the reviews on that, as they cover the game in much more depth than this review, which is mainly focusing on the content addition of the British Isles. If you have played it before, you know exactly what you're getting into, and Logistical BI is more of the same. So far it's probably my favourite module in the series, playing similarly to a much larger version of the Netherlands. There's no scenario-specific ruleset (like New Zealand's unavailability of industry-building, or Germany's quarantine), but that just lets the game play to its strengths in my opinion, giving you a solid pack of uninterrupted content that you can do without needing to focus too heavily on any individual step of the process.Importantly, this standalone module syncs up with the base game + DLC perfectly, letting you play any module you own no matter whether you're running the base game or this standalone British Isles version, and saving your progress between the two. This update also came with a revamped tutorial situated on the Isle of Man, and that proved to be a much more comprehensive guide to the game in an environment that was actually fully completeable, and a tutorial that I enjoyed completing despite having over 370 hours in the series by this point. All in all, if you're a fan of Logistical, you'll love this content addition. If you're new to the series, I'd recommend starting with the base Logistical game, but if you live in the British Isles (or for some other reason would prefer to start on this module), then you'll find it easy to jump into and learn the mechanics of the game. Either way, I can't recommend it enough.. On the surface there are a lot of problems with this game - overly dense, clunky UI, poor graphics, very confusing onboarding. But it does deliver on the gameplay that it promises. If you like solving puzzles by routing lots of dependencies around, there is a LOT of that to be had here. It is deeply satisfying in the same way that untying a knot can be.This game definitely erases the hours. It may not have the strategic depth and polish of a game like Anno or Factorio, but if you like the resource management parts of those games, it is well worth a look.. Game started me off in an impossible position, with no move i can make.I've played LOGistICAL OG game - liked it. Wanted the UK version, completed the Isle Of Mann tutorial and now I can't do anything. What am I supposed to do with this game now. I gave up on this game after about 20 minutes as it seems to have a mind of its own. The tutorial is useless, there are several parts to the tutorial and it seems to skip from one part to another at random before you get a chance to complete that part. In the end I gave up on the tutorial and tried to figure it out for myself. I wanted to play a particular town but It seems you have to complete the towns in the order it tells you to because only the Isle of Man is available. I tried to fill a truck with supplies and all of a sudden there's a big red exclamation mark over the truck and it appears to be in an endless loop. The game tells you to cancel this but doesn't tell you how to do it. At this point I gave up with it. Looks good but very frustrating UI. Waste of money!. A good solid entry into the Logistical game empire. Not the hardest, for sure, but there will be some limitations and challenges to keep you busy. And you get Scotland, so there you go. 10\/10.
